Languages Offered at GAFLPT, Guwahati
Global Academy of Foreign Languages & Professional Training (GAFLPT) is a foreign language institute established for the first time in the North east with an objective of fulfilling the increasing demands of the foreign languages in the country. Although, the institution aims at introducing different foreign languages as per the choice and demands of the students, at present, it is offering the basic training courses in French, German, Korean & Japanese language. The institute also offer training for IELTS, which has also become mandatory for immigrating to all English speaking countries.
Besides the language courses, GAFLPT is also planning to start job orientated courses in Personality Development, Communication Skills, DTP & Photoshop, Stenography, Calligraphy, Hospitality & Retail Management.
Certificate and Diplomas Offered
The courses offered in GAFLPT are designed as per the European Standard Framework and the curriculum followed here is similar to Alliance Francaise and Max Mueller Bhavan which are the govt agencies responsible for imparting french & German languages respectively. On successful completion of a course, international examinations will be conducted by Alliance Francaise and Max Mueller Bhavan which are the govt agencies responsible for imparting French and German languages respectively. Although provisions will be made for conducting the examination in Guwahati, a student might have to travel to Kolkata for the same if the number of examinees are very few.
DELF Examination
GAFLPT will prepare the students for appearing in the DELF examination conducted by Alliance Francaise where the successful candidates will be awarded a certificate by Govt. France, which recognized world wise. There are six levels of DELF Examination ranging from A1 to C2 depending on the students level of proficiency. Similarly, for German also, a student will be trained step by step and on successful completion of a level will be awarded a diploma (On passing the exam) by the Max Mueller Bhavan, which is internationally valid.
Placement Assistance
GAFLPT, Guwahati is tying up with various organizations to conduct campus interviews for our students. the institute will give necessary information to the students regarding the various vacancies available in the related subject from time to time
Other Services
Global Academy of Foreign Languages & Professional Training is also engaged in providing free counseling to students wishing to pursue their higher education in France with the help of Campus France a French Embassy Organization for the promotion of higher education in France.
It also provides the services of interpreter and translator in French language, basically for the French speaking tourists.

GAFLPT also proposes to set up a store that will contain foreign language books, study material, CDs, movies and other audio-visual materials. Interested students and parents can purchase them from our institute.
